You, sir, got stoned!

Sounds to me like sweet mother mary acts like a pretty strong hallucinogen for you; it does for me too.

So, here's some pointers:

NEWB SMOKING TIPS Version 1.1.0.1.0.0.1.0.0 (if anyone understands that series of numbers, I might send you free weed but probably not)

  • Avoid giant bong rips. If you still have pink lungs, they're gonna hurt. Hell, I've been smoking for about a year and a half now, and I still can't handle big bong rips. That, above all else, is probably the reason you vomited, and got so very very high.

  • Only smoke killer weed-- Rhino's about as good as it gets. That way, you get less lung irritation when you smoke, and can get higher easier.

  • Invest in a nice pipe. A bubbler would be even better. Be prepared to spend $50 or so on really high quality glass. Something with a small enough chamber that it won't be a problem for you to clear it, but meaty enough that it doesn't get too hot, break, or just not hit well. Make sure it feels solid in your hand, and ask the person at the headshop to tap it against the counter to make sure it's as strong as they say. A nice piece adds a lot to the smoking experience.

  • Pack small bowls, and don't worry about taking huge hits right now. Work your way up to it, and moreover, enjoy the smoking process. Only take as big hits as you can handle without coughing up a lung, and most of all, RELAX! That's what it's all about, anyway. If it starts to hurt, grab a drink and wait a while.

  • Finally, always have water on hand, to quell a rough hit or just to quench the cottonmouth. You can never have too much water when smoking.

Try these things out, and lemme know how it goes!

P.S. The difference in how high you got has to do with the quantity, quality, and even strain of the weed you smoked. Rhino is a heavy indica body stone, very trippy like you described; other types are up, energetic, buzzy head stones. It's all a matter of breeding, determining the ratio between Delta-9 THC (a lot in sativas), and cannabinol (a lot in indicas), as well as a few other cannabinoids.
