To Ron Bennett:
Hey dude,
I was just surfing the web for a bong, and I came across all sorts of online Cannabis merchandise retailers, selling seeds, bongs and smoking paraphernalia, etc.. and suddenly a thought struck me (one you may have had before but which I had to log in here to suggest before I forgot) - why doesn't Cannabis.com/Marihemp start selling Cannabis merchandise also? Nothing illegal, obviously.. just stuff like bongs, pipes, grinders, t-shirts, etc (maybe even seeds.. but that might not be the best idea considering the current political climate) to increase capital. You could make a mint considering how you already have a huge number of potential customers worldwide. You could then have money for advertising, sponsoring activism, fund-raisers, legal fees, etc (if this kind of thing interests you at all, which I hope it would). Plus then you could remove a lot of the banners that cover this site, and would have extra time and money on making the Cannabis.com experience better for everyone....
Just a suggestion...

Yeah dude.. Plus it would attract alot more people to the site and these forums, and the forums and the site would attract more people to the products. Everyone would know that this site is trustworthy because Ron has poured his time, effort and money in to keeping this site up for us for so long. Also, with the added revenue you would not need to charge people for extra forum features (like PMs, ect), which would attract more people to using this forum which in turn would attract more people to the company as a whole.

To Ron Bennett:
Tie-Dyes are coming back soon - we used to sell them directly ourselves many years ago, and they were popular and priced right.
Proposed pricing for our custom tie-dyes (plain and printed):
1 for $12 USD + $3 S&H : $15
3 for $29 USD + $6 S&H : $35
5 for $44 USD + $6 S&H : $50
Pipes, bongs, etc are popular products, but inventory of such items is difficult to manage; ties up a lot of capital. And there are various legal issues involved with such products - it's best for us to leave the sale of such products to vendors who are already well versed in that business. With that said, selling select vaporizers products directly ourselves may be worthwhile with minimal legal issues.
Direct sales of seeds, cannabis, etc isn't happening any time soon by any major cannabis related site; the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling regarding Federal law taking precidence over state laws regarding medicinal cannabis doesn't help matters.
For now we must rely on advertising; selling products ourselves likely wouldn't reduce the level of advertising much anyways - whether we sell products or others do, visitors still need to be made aware of such products being available via ads.
