Im only 14 and i smoke pot quite alot, and i was just wandering, is it actually prooven that smoking pot, at like a young age, that it can mess up your head? or is it just a theory?

well ill tell you a little something........i went to college to re-take my GCSE's in england..........i was taking my mock tests for my science papers........but b4 i took them i had smoked abit wiv a few friends..........my results came thru and it showed that i done well when i smoked, i got like 13/20, 15/20, 12/20 and etc.....but the other mocks i did which woz a different day, i didnt smoke.....guess wot my results 4 them were........8/20,7/20,9/20........u tell me if smoking weed messes up your head?

ive jus proven myself that it helps ya think alot better.

maybe for you it helped but it dosent for everyone, i can tell you that.
i started smoking when i was 14, all i can say is do what you want, if you do smoke alot, im pretty sure you will be different to what you could of been, but whether that's good or bad is up to you.
also i smoked during the gcse's, although not before a test but just everyday whether revising or coming back from a test, i passed all my subjects at a-c..

yeah i think it can mess up your head....especially if you are young.
i thought i fucked my head up...but i cut down and just realised that i was smoking too much for my head to cope with.
If you think its fucking your head up stop smoking or at least cut down....cause no-one can really tell you how fucked your head is...its just a matter of dealing with how fucked your head is.

I also smoked through my gcse's and failed 2 i re-took one this year while possibly smoking more than i was before and passed it.
It really depends what you mean by fucked....

I think smoking in those critical developmental years is defintely a bad idea... Especially heavy smoking. I didn't smoke till I was 18, I think that was a pretty good age. I've decided that when my daughter turns 18 its open season on the cannabis!

like i said in another thread, just use moderation and know your limits, for me personally, weed durning school actually helped me out, it made me more relaxed and i was more interested in what was being taught, as well my mind was cleared from all my worries. Also having a joint before a test has always worked well for me as i wouldnt become worried about the test which would generally cause me to be better. But it dosnt work this way for everyone, so if it has a negative effect on you then you should cut down. Also their is no evidence to surport the claim that weed in itself fucks with your head in the long run, the only thing that will is if you take it out of hand and fuck yourself over.

weed doesnt mess with your head. your just gonna get a lil vedge and "slow", but u can absolutly smoke weed for 50 years and be perfectly ok.

i smoke since 4 years and i always had results over 80% at school and now im in college.

i guess it depends for every1
