Anyway, possession in NYC for very small amounts of pot is not a very serious offense - just a fine, in the vast majority of cases. Its wrong, but not a life sentence.
Its under 25 grams, thats considered a minor violation and handled with a summons and fine.

But with the dogs walking around as well bringing even small amounts of pot into these places would be highly ill-advised.
