I did NOT say "They don't want to do it our way, so fuck them..." YOU wrote that with quotation marks, but I did not say it. I DID say "fuck them all", in a different context.

Nobody was bothering Afghanistan, least of all the U.S. - and their religion has been destroying logic and keeping people in the dark ages, or worse, for a long time. I don't care how they want to live in their own land - but they started something that they are going to pay for dearly. The short-lived Taliban rule in Afghanistan was one of the most repressive, murderous, insane theocracies in history. It was only a matter of time until they felt that their power made them capable of inflicting pain and suffering on people that are different â?? the very people, in fact, that helped them keep their country out of the hands of the Soviets. They are the lowest of the low - and the world will be none the worse when they all perish. There are NO redeeming qualities that can be attributed to the Taliban and al Quada. How can you defend these people's actions? I can understand your not liking Bush, but offering an apology and defense of al Quada and the Taliban? I thought that you had your priorities wrong, but this is beyond belief.

I am not "offended" - I just cannot believe that an intelligent, free person can see any worthwhile qualities in al Quada and Taliban people, let alone deny that they are â??crazyâ?�. If you haven't seen them I'd suggest you view some documentaries about the taliban's rule in Afghanistan - before 9/11. If you then think that these people are playing with a full deck in any way shape or form, then I give up. I'd never deny that ALL religions are forms of mental illness, but these people, with their jihad and dangerous fundamentalist beliefs, are embracing psychosis as their ideal â?? and anybody that is different is their enemy. Maybe Iâ??m not smart enough to understand this, or have sustained enough neurological damage as to blunt (no pun intended as I donâ??t smoke them) my cognitive abilities. What I perceive is based on what I have seen, and it doesnâ??t look good for the future unless movements like these are contained and suppressed.

Hold on now! Im not saying theyre worthwhile qualities to be admired or anything, but just put yourselves in their position. Ever since they were kids, theyve had the british, americans, israelis and russians fucking around with them.

belittling heir religion. humiliating them. living here in the north, we get offended and upset if someone says something like "fuck God!"

they dont have anywhere near the news reports or resources we do. theyre flying blind and only see jets in the distance. hell, half of them probably dont even know they're being watched on international television all over the world...


im not sympathising with them and their methods any more than i would a family pet gone rabid. I still have to put em down, but i sure wish it didnt have to be that way.
