Grinders?

What's the purpose of a grinder when you can tear apart nuggets with your fingers or scissors? I'm assuming for its pollenating capabilities?

Either way, do you guys recommend buying/using one?

if you roll alot use one. if you're smoking high grade stuff (or anything that has lots of trichromes on it) you definately don't want to be touching it with your fingers all the time, matter of fact if you got crystally weed, you want to touch it as little as possible... not to mention, what would take 10 mins atleast (maybe 5 if you're really speedy) to throughly chop up, would take all of 30 seconds in a hand held grinder, and less thatn 10 in a electric one... if you do get a manual one.. do not get the plastic ones.. they're usually under 10 dollars... i say don't get them cuz they work fine for awhile, but not for long, the teeth start breaking off...

like that one, but mines square, that's def. the kind i'd recommend if you aren't worried about collecting crystals... it can even be put ina dishwasher if needed be... i'm not sure about wooden ones (durability wise) but metal ones are also good, as long as it's a quality one (if going for metal, i'd recommend checking the pins to see if the grinder was molded that way or if they were put in, if they were put in after the body was molded.. then there's a good chance they can break off.. also look for weight, generally, light weight-cheap material) my lucite one cost me just under 20$ and works fine, never had a single probelm wtih it

i use a grinder all the time cos the grease on ur fingas make the thc crystals come of the bud and its a waste

I bought one 2 weeks ago, and how I have some bud, I've been getting some use out of it. I'll never go back to crumbling by hand as it's so quick and easy. I wasted so many crystals in the past, mostly on my fingers.
