Low costing CO2 generater.
Hey there guys, just thought I would let ya in on a low costing CO2 generater that is pretty easy to throw together.
Supplies :
Dry ice
A Cooler ( With holes on lid ) 2" rad, 4" dia.
Fan
How to:
1. Apply dry ice to the inside of the cooler
2. Top with lid.
3. Place fan just above lid.
As the dry ice melts, it releases a gas, and this gas is CO2, by using the fan the CO2 gets mixxed into the air.
Easy to approx guess the ammount of CO2 as 1pound of Dry ice is 1pound of liquid CO2.
5pounds of dryice usually lasts about 24hoursJoel Reviewed by Joel on . Low costing CO2 generater. Low costing CO2 generater.
yeah I was thinking of somethign simular, using dry ice in a pot with lid thats air tight, drilled a hole, put in a tube, seal any cracks where the tube is, and place otehr end of tube in the center of my 3 plants. the pressure of expanding gases will push itself out threw the tube.

what about carbonated water in a spray bottle?
ive read that its a good way if you dont have a co2 system..

wouldn't carbonated water be CH2O? If so then I don't see how the plant would be extracting CO2 out. I'm just going from logic here I'm not an expert. Also i've heard about all the Dry Ice stuff and I just have to say that having stuff like that is NOT REQUIRED! Most the first time growers will read something like this and decide "I have to do that" and end up fucking up their plants.
Don't overdo anything. Think of them as literally being your daughters. You want to make them happy without spoiling them. Make them beautiful women...then smoke them. But if they decide to grow balls. Cook them alive and make some hash. ;D

I hate to tell you this but carbonated water is NOT CH2O. Carbonated water means that you have dissolved carbon dioxide in the water.... what happens to carbonated water or pop when it is left out is that the CO2 comes out of solution making it flat it does not change the chemical structure of water. I don't know everything there is to know about growing but I do have a B.S. in Biochemistry and work as a Chem. Eng. so I have a pretty good grasp on the chemistry end of it.... and yes plants do absorb CO2 through cells in their leaves so it would be a good educated guess that they could absorb the liquid CO2 from the carbonated water.
