    Different strains

Is there any info on the effects of the various strains of cannabis for different ailments. Reason for asking my wife has progressive MS, and I have notice when she does one strain it affects one way, and a different one does something different. Thanks.

This doesn't really answer your question, but I was listening to CSPAN radio the other day and I think the ACLU is making progress toward getting research started on medicinal uses of marijuana. Maybe in five years someone will have a firm answer for you... Sorry.

Well, there's two different main types, Indica and Sativa. Then there's a loooot of strains under that. Anyway, Indica type strains (or mainly indica) give a body high and more of a relaxed, "stoned", feeling. Sativa gives that up "high", do stuff feeling. Strains run many in between. I hope that answers your question a little bit, and I hope your wife is feeling a little better from the medicine.

if you are growing your own weed, you can get a little $10 radioshack microscope, watch the color of the trichomes, milky to amber , the difference is noticable, one will get you a little amped, where the other is couch weed(meaning the user won't wander too far from the couch after smoking) i read the article here somewhere
People are generally lazy and hold onto currently held false beliefs. This condition is not acceptable to the ethical atheist. It is not good enough to sit comfortably with your knowledge of the Universe and look in pity at those who are still governed by lies, mythology and sensationalism. Scientific education is the only way to prevail. Only by increasing the comprehension of scientific truths can we hope to continue our progress past the Dark Ages.

I myself cannot answer your specific question. I do however find that ingestion rather than inhalation provides deeper and longer relief from physical ailments.
Cannabutter added to foods is the most effective way of doing this. It requires a greater amount to produce it but will last longer for med use in the long run.

a good friend of mine has a mom who has 12 full indica northern lights plants. she uses them specifically for medicinal purposes and i tried smoking them a couple times and the high is almost narcotic. seems fitting.
