What does this discoloration mean?
This plant is a week and a half old since seed. The leaves started yellowing in the middle with the darker normal green concetrated towards the stem. The tips of the secondary leaves are yellowing too.
This is happening to 3/4 of my plants so figured I'd ask. It looks less yellow in the picture than in real life.
They are in Sunshine Mix #1 being fed 6.0 water, switched to 6.5 today. No nutes have been added yet, just superthrive in the water. Temps are around 75-80 with CFLs. I have 6-4-4 Fox Farms Big Grow when I begin feeding nutes.stickygreenlightsabr Reviewed by stickygreenlightsabr on . What does this discoloration mean? What does this discoloration mean?
Are you sure it's not overwatering?
Or maybe holding to much water in the pot?
Or maybe to much superthrive?
Just use Ph adjusted RO or Distilled water for a few times the next time you water and see if that helps.

What does this discoloration mean?
Only one of the plants was sligthly wilty so I'm not sure if it was over watering. I'll take your advise and see if that helps, thanks Zandor.

What does this discoloration mean?
I would agree with Zandor on the maybe too much SuperThrive.
Some strains can handle even though ALL should be able to.
Also, I think your 6.0 water is too low. I would crank it up to 6.8 or even 7.0 for the next week. If your soil is basically acidic in nature, the 6.0 is too low and can cause this.
Also, if you are on a 24/0, I would consider 18/6 but I think its acidic environment is a bit over kill.
Keep us updated

What does this discoloration mean?
I had just cranked it to 6.5 so I'll try closer to 7.
My light cycle has been 18/6 except for a few days of 24/0 when seedlings.
Thanks brohams.

What does this discoloration mean?
Could use some help with this other plant I have...
The leaves are drooping and theres some weird color patterns forming on just the first set of true leaves. The seed leaves are also yellowing and theres dark coloring forming on the edges of the leaves towards the tip.
I watered with 7.0 water once since my last post here. The plant is over 2 weeks old since sprout, not nutes have been fed yet.

What does this discoloration mean?
I think this may be as simple as you have the foil shiny side out.
I think shes getting flash burn.
Swap it around.

What does this discoloration mean?
Also, you watered once since the 27th??????
Something isnt right here.
I have to water fricking everyday...EVERY DAY sometimes 2X.
Somethings tells me your circulation might not be strong enuff, humidity too high, etc...
What are the Atmospheric conditions?
Show your grow setup too if you dont mind.
Water pushes nutes up the plants. If its sitting in your dirt, something else is wrong.

What does this discoloration mean?
No, I have the dull side out.
Yea I watered once on the 27th and then again on the 30th. I've been using a cheapo moisture meter on different depths and locations. I water when the top is "dry" and the bottom half is "moist". Is that about right? About to water again right now...
The temps stay in the 75-85 range, mostly 78. Humidity is at 45-55%. 18/6 photoperiod.
I have a 125W light in the middle with two 25W flourex CFLs on each side directly over the plants. No cam right now. I have the same fan as you blowing in the same manner, I can see all the plants dance. I had heat issues after I bought the 4 CFLs so I took the batwing off the main light, pos. Might make something similar to yours.
Out of the 4 plants, two do not have these symptoms. Thanks for the help, this is confusing me.
