Weeding out the boys

I know the pics are not great....god damn camera....couldnt get the close up I wanted...maybe I need to spend some time searching for the user guide for the camera...but this was the best of the ones I took. Out of my 7 plants....these 2 had lil balls on them so I removed them from the GR and put them outside a good distance away. Not sure if this is ok or if they can still spread the seeds into the grow room. If anyone knows please inform me so I can kill the lil bastards. Thanks

Did you notice any yellowish powder (the pollen) come off the plants at all? You have to be very careful to try not to shake the male plant. If shaken too much, pollen will be released...only time will tell.

To aviod any more possible pollenation though, wash your hands, change ALL of your clothes that you were wearing when you removed the males, before you enter your GR again. Make sure there is no cross contamination.

It wont be many, but I can promise you some good stones from the oil of the male.

There isn't much, but, it doesnt take much....as you shall see in a day or so krisppy

Thanks Nochowder... I moved them out today....Right now they are relaxing in the natural sunlight that started their lives....There was no powder of any color on the balls....just green....They were not there 2 days ago so Im hoping that I caught it in time. I think for safetys sake I will take a ride on the quad and place them somewhere far far away from their sisters. Harddon I did see your recipe for the oil....but christ my first attemempt at cannabutter was BLECH...tasted like I was eating my bong water...second try went much better... Someone suggested I try and pull the balls off?? I was like DO YOU KNOW HOW HIGH I would have to be to sit with tweezers and pull off each lil sac??? Dont think that my patience level will allow me to do that one. I just figured I would get some sativa seeds from a nice strong plant and be lucky enough to grab a few female seeds which I will then try and clone. I guess I need to start cloning soon from the current crop....ugghhh another topic . I will take more pics of the girls this weekend and the boys to. Thanks for the input and Hard I will be happy to give the oil a try.
