Don't hate the cringe, my friend. I (a male) am so for gay rights, but I do cringe with male / male sex of most kinds. The cringe is just an instinct, probably born out of my upbringing.

I'm getting more OK with gay male PDA and movie sex, but it's a slow process. On the other hand, female/female sex just seems so right. I don't know, it's just how I feel.
