well if u fell 4 the title, u may as well give a verdict, day 24, thinks have been good up 2 now, beside's one plant(which is makin a full recovery)all are doin well, i rotate them daily, and rotate all plants once a week, so that they r never in the same position under the flouos, my thinkin bein the rotatin of all plants will balance the light each plant gets, so no one plant continuasly gets better light than the others, all plants get exactly there share, i tried 2 leave the grow area together but couldnt take pics so i had 2 remove a section as u can see in the pics, well enjoy and please, input apprecaited good r bad so come on

Man you are so close to having an awesum grow

You obviously got some of the basics down, but you just dont have enuff light to get those secondaries out of the shadows.

If you could just double your light and improve upon your light reflectivity you would easily double your yeild.

But, considering what you have, you'll be a heck of a grower one day once you get the lights they need.

Keep at it and really nice efforts there.

thnxs harddon, praise from u is indeed taken with the best of thnxs, im goin in 4 more mylar in the morn so i can make some more cardboard reflectors 2 get the best out of them lights,, and in a month r so ill put them under the 2 600watt lights 4 flowerin.
but its good 2 know u think i have a future in this cause i really wanna pursue this and learn everythin i can so one day ill have it down(a ways away i know)this is a learnin curve, 4 the nxt grow ill have a pre madde room 4 vegin , which can be widened as the plants get bigger and need more room.kinda like an expandin house, untill they come out 2 flower

i was just rereadin ur post, im not doin the entire grow like u see, when they r round 2 feet im flowerin under 2 600watt hps, with more cardboard mylar sections 2 reflect light 2 the decondary nodes and grow site, harddon can i start 2 look 4 thrics now this early?? r the beginni of thrichs?do i just look on the leaves?im goin 4 a 30-40 percent cloudy thrichs, so where is the best place 2 look so u can make that desision? the buds r leaves?
harddon i also removed a section so i could take some pics so there r some spots without cover in the pics and normally they would have, i still agree bout more mylar make the most out of the lights no piont wastin light when its as easy 2 reflect it

As soon as you smell the terpene, you can start looking at trichs...for amusement puposes only of course. At this stage.

You problems or deficiencies with this grow is only part mylar...the other part is light.

Both lighting and reflection of lighting are below what is needed to get your plants to full genetic expression....or even half

The problem with you strategy of throwing them under some real lights for flower is this:

The only things that flower under HPS lights are things that have flourished under vegging light.

You 600W flower bulbs are great, but they will not and cannot spur the vegetative growth....rather...they will take the growth they have been given and turn them to flowers

You can look for trichs now, but you wont find any that are anything but clear....

As for your locations, well they arent really on stems so the only place to look for them now is on the leaf surface.

If I were you, I would consider going ahead and flowering now.

Your top canopy of the plants are very very nice, but unfortunately, your light and area lack the power to penetrate that canopy and therefor all you really have are tops and those will indeed produce nice main kolas.

Your plants just do not have the secondary structure to yeild large quantity per plant and even more light at this time will only help the new growth.

Remember your buds will form from the growth that takes place on the stem that grows right on top of the fan leaves.

You have little if any growth there.

Your stems are beautiful and well forms, your plants are healthy and short....

They just lack density and the growth that ultimately turns to buds.

But your top kolas will be sweet I bet.

You did really really well with what your plans were....you just didnt give them enuff light. At this point, even if you were to return to the light store, you would need another 30 days to fix the shortcomings.

I would strongly consider throwing these into flower and harvest the top kolas in 8 weeks and start some more.

Or, triple the lights...at least...and give the spaces RIGHT ON TOP of the fan leaf nodes some light and force them to produce secondaries which will house buddage.

Your question seems to be on flowers or buds.....

First your flower pods grow.

Two cunt hairs come out of the pod.

Then more pods grow. More hairs.

Then a series of single bladed leave will form.

Then more flower pods....leaves....flower pods, leaves, over and over again form the bud.

When the leaves have stopped growing, only the flower pods will then grow and they grow on and on and begin to swell and thus your buds formed.

You can start looking for trichs anytime you want, but flower time is when the are most present.

And no you dont want 40% cloudly. Ideally you want as close to 100% cloudy as you can get, with a small percentage being amber colored.

You are doing great here with what you have so dont take anything as critical. I have seen some really shitty plants and these are anything but.

There simply isnt enuff light red

thnxs harddon, i knew from the start we where doin 2 many plants 4 the amount of light i have, nxt grow will be half the plants and twice the light, i have added more mylar and am thinkin of addin side light, but at this stage its 2 late 2 promote secondary growth, if im readin u right. im just waitin on a skunk plant 2 catch up and am then puttin them in2 flower, thnxs 4 the advice man.
ur sayin 4 this grow 2 make the best of whati have and put them in2 flower and concentrate on the main koalas? well thats what ill do so, thnxs again, once the small skunk catches up ill wack em in2 flower.also if u mean when they start 2 smell u can start lookin 4 thrics? and aim 4 00 percent cloudy thricks? thnxs harddon, im buildin a veg room 4 vegin 4 nxt time so i get full use off everythin, but as u said 4 my first attemt lookin ok?

some more, i really have 2 say the pics r done with a shitty mobile and r not doin the babys justice its just not showin the light, i have 8 flouros and it doesnt look like it, i have them tyed together so im gonna position the lights with space between each one s and fill the gaps with mylar, nxt grow should b tops

has any1 any input only harddon who u can always rely on, not only looks @ the pics but takes the time 2 give his opionion any1 else, what do u think?
ps plants r only 24 day old , was gonna veg @ 2 foot, but takin harddons advice sieriosly so i might start flowerin sooner than expected.
