I'm sort of a newbie, only smoking weed for 3 weeks. I was looking to get high outside a mall so i ducked in a stairwell that seemed to lead to nowhere. It had been a few minutes of me sitting down there so i pulled out a joint and my lighter and just as i was about to light it, a cop shows up at the top of the stairs, flashes his badge and says "not here, buddy, take it someplace else".

I was of course scared shitless cause i've never been caught before, but thank god Toronto cops don't care if you smoke weed.

He knew what it was. Cigs smell awful compared to bud. It's cool how it worked out though. I'd consider that a gift

Well all there were a dozen or so cig smokers outside the front building, why would this young cig smoker go hide in a stairwell behind the building... oh...

Here here, Toronto Cops CAN be abso-fucking-lutely amazing. With the gun usage on the rise.. and Finch Ave. washed away.. they've got better things to worry about then a kid getting stoned in a stairwell.. (or SHOULD have better things to worry about anyway..)

It's not the joint that he was sayin to take outside.. it was the smoke. If you remember, it's now illegal to smoke indoors anywhere public in Ontario now.

Woo ya toronto! Im torontonian, born and bred, been smokin a few months. Never had a run in with the cops tho, fortunately.
