(Weed is great but lets face it, it cant kiss you or touch your or encourage you to do something positive with your life. It can only make u happy for a moment and then it will take your ambission from you. If you allow it of course and in most cases people do.Will the your plant miss you after you pass on?)

Mand - I think most of these guys just havent found that REAL person in their lives to make them happy. So they resort to the next best thing. Usually they pick out the best lookin chic and think they have all they need but after the first year they start to realize that looks aint shit and that they need more.

I know I felt the same for a long time. But it ended up being that I fell in love with one of my closest friends of 3 years and never even knew the love of my life was in front of me the entire time.

I have heard some of the guys on here mention their g/f's in some positive ways when they talk about their plants of course its seldom but at least you know there is hope.

Mand it even seems you have some admirer's here! (Grow Forums) lol Of course they might not fit the bill for you. But there is always hope of finding that ideal person for you!

Hello Mona , Oh I couldn't be to hard on the guys on here, to be fair a lot of them are younger than my sons (22, 20), all they seem to do is move from one girl to another
Like I said at the begining it's just a light hearted thread, I think we all know what boys are like with their toys

The guys on the grow forums are great, whilst they keep serving out the compliments I'll keep posting
Hmmm you've made me think to myself (again) do I really want someone in my life, my ex was........well it's a long story, I might tell it one day
Any guys since then have not really been my type, I don't know maybe it's me I've devolped a really idependent streak over the years.

Just a little light hearted thread, nothing heavy or serious

Ok, now for the past few weeks I've been hanging around the growing section of these boards. I've posted a few pics and told a little of my growing methods, which a pretty basic but they work for me

One thing I have noticed without any doubt whatsoever is the passion you guys have for you're plants.
You care for them in every way possible, making sure that they get the best of everything, you worry about them, you give them names.
When there sick you nurse them, and no exspense is spared on there comfort and well being.

Can I just ask one question guys? .......Do you give you're Wives, Girlfriends, Partners the same amount of passion, care and love that you give to you're plants?
Believe me if a guy showed me that much care and attention, well lets just say I'd be more than pleased

Yes well, for those of us that just got ditched out of a longterm relationship, a plant is the next best thing. It never cheats on you, ignores you, talks shit back to you, etc. yes finding the right person would be nice, but not everyone is ready for that at a particular age. My puppy is my best friend right now, even though I know I could find a willing female for the typical pursuit, whats the point? Plus, you know the plant is gonna make you happy in the end when you clip it and smoke it :-P.

I have found it just simply how most guys are, I have a friend and her husband has an old MG sports car. Now she is always saying how he loves that car more than her and I've seen him with the car and he does.
He calls the car Sophie He is always cleaning it, tinkering with it, it's basiclly his mistress.

Mind you I have to admit, my plants are easier to live with than any guy but I still ain't going to give them names
