well fet...sorry if we don't drop everything and and change the board programs to suit someone who has been a member here for all of one week now, but that is simply not done here...or anywhere else for that matter!

perhaps you should start your own forum and run it the way you suggest/demand here! you've been around long enough to know how these message boards operate...eh?

On a related topic, when one publishes (the boards is a publishing medium) their thoughts intended for others in the public (even if only limited to a sub-set) to read, it become part of the collective commons; no longer completely theirs...

That sums it up perfectly. As a webmaster dealing with copyright photos, once I post one of our photos into a newsgroup, I lose exclusive rights. The photo enters the public domain and I have lost control of any use of the picture.

When any of us post to a MB, we no longer control what we've shared. And trying to is a little like Alysa Milano's crazy mother threatening to sue every celeb website for posting her daughter's tit pics.

If you don't want your tits on the internet, then don't show them in public; if you don't want cops to see your grow, then don't post them on a MB. Simple.

Doesnt this show you they are interested in your feedback and to help you understand the policy. They are not the closed minded communists you paint them to be. Listen to what they say because they are not going to keep taking you by the hand and walking you through it step by step.
It is expected and appreciated that you familliarise yourself with policy BEFORE agreeing to it my friend. Once you agree its childish to whine about it then.

Once you say something you own it.You cant erase it, you cant hide it or hide from it. That is a reality of life you neeed to adjust to because it will never change. Censor yourself BEFore you speak. Thats what the rest of us adults do. If you regret a post, the best you can do is repost a better explaination or an apology. You cannot rewrit the past.
If your lips are too loose to keep you from blabbing shit that will get you in trouble then you shouldnt be left unsupervised at the computer and need a babysitter.

Wow a pissing competition who has been here longer..lol if you must know I've been a member here for many years and I already run two small forums and stock a number of seedbanks.....YAWN!

If you don't want to listen to what I say and brush it off with read the policy blah blah thats cool your loss. Many years ago this site use to be bubbling with quality growers and breeders...but as time went on they moved out to better sites that were more understanding of their needs and safety.. (unlike here) And since that day this site has always been referred to as kiddie.com ..sad but true!
I just thought I'd give some light onto some of the problems here..your loss not mine!

FEt - I take personal offense at your statement. I yield over 2+ pounds from each plant every harvest and I consider myself to be a very experienced grower. I must grow indoors and I don't have the room to breed seeds and yes you are a very skilled breeder (I have grown and I will grow your strains still in the future) I like your crosses they are very stable and that important but please don't disrespect my growing skills.

There are many great growers around here and in the cultivation area we have more adults then most other sites. I do my best to not allow the problems that plague OG to occur here and kiddies are kept to a mild challenge. Kiddies are everywhere worse at some places better at others.
I understand some of what you are saying but Ron is the boss he makes the decisions. If Leo wants you he will get you and this forum or any forum will not make that hit happen. Common sense is a must and we can't be responsible for all the dumb people.

I do respect you and your right to speak you voice and have your say, but if you spend enough time here you will see just how good the people are around here. Del is one of the most helpful people around this forum as well as many others.

I guess if you can get enough members to join your voice things may change I think if there is a large enough movement Ron will respond in kind.

Have you ever considered that peoples circumstances change and some times they cannot be controlled ?
Have you ever posted to find the information you posted was incorrect or was not presented correctly , or even out of anger frustration?

You ever considered there could be security issue and some ones safety is at risk??hhmmm
I've seen members at other sites do extra jail time because the DEA matched a grow bust to pictures he had posted online.
I feel 5 minutes is total rubbish and is nothing but a danger to community and totally horrified this has been enforced on such a site.

Safety is the most important thing for many and clearly that has not been considered here.

very well said.in my opinion,(which we are all intitled to)sometimes you can say the nicest stuff,yet still get smart ass remarks or negativaty.it is mostly a young ppl site.so theory is kids dont think fast enough.there mind has not taken it to the limit.so when they post they should be ware 5 minuts is a chicken S==t time limit.use mind a little harder and think before speak is best bet maybe.but yes is this one of only site(not for sure ) where editing is a limit.you post a pic and a saying that maybe wasnt said rite.well you are still screwed,crying shame that a little thing like edit post time is such a big prob to make atleast 24 hrs.i think the honchos are sitting on there duff and reading and saying to them selves.look at all ppl who post way to much info
