Worried about your memory?
Like ezjim, I'm a long term smoker-23 years. When I was young I'd smoke morning, noon, and night, and couldn't remember shit. Now, however, I pretty much only smoke at night and don't have any problems remembering things. Except, of course, things that happened while I'm stoned.
My guess is that weed really only effects your memory when your under the influence of it. It just seems like its killing your memory when its really just surpressing it. Like me when I as young, I suspect that many smokers are in a contant state of either being high or being burned out. Maybe not always high but never really fully clear headed either. Think about it, we all know we do stupid shit when were high like forgetting where the lighter is when we're really holding it. Well, if we're high for 70-90% of the day it's no wonder that we think we've totally lost our memory. Right?
Who knows, maybe I'm totally wrong. It just seems logical to me. So I wouldn't............... uh.......what what the question?

Worried about your memory?
Nice feedback guys. My memory issues are mainly stupid little things that happened minutes ago.. but sometimes I worry when I have problems remembering certain things, events and people from just a few years ago. I should take a few days off... but I know I won't. I've been trying to clean up my life a bit (smoke way less if not quit altogether, actually work hard on school so I can graduate) but I always end up falling back into these patterns... smoke everyday. I even see a school counselor.
But anyway, I go back to college in a little over a week, so of course the first week will be spent partying my ass off (finally out of the dorms we are, ... shall be toking up in our houses and whatnot) but after that I plan to really buckle down and work on my studies so I can get my English degree. I want to only smoke on weekends and maybe a few weeknights (not DAYS like last year when my grades took a nosedive) when I'm done with homework. Heh, sorry to ramble guys... once again thanks for the feedback.

i've always been good at remembering where things are and stuff of that nature, but recalling moments in history of my life is a little more difficult...sometimes.
