Quick & Efficient My Way
Yeah I luv weed & have come across all types of weed from Purple Haze, Bin Laden, Norther Lights, DnD ( Damn Near Dro), Commercial, Flame, Orange crush, Blueberry dro, Strawberry Dro, Razberry Dro & many more I cant even remember & Frankensteins wife or something like dat but I thought it would be cool to grow weed so I read into it & since selling weed to me is easy why not growing. Ive read alot about Hydroponics & have come up with a good way to get your plant going when your goin to transplant it.
Product ListBuy with cash everything on credit cards is controlled by the U.s goverment!)
1 bucket with lid - 3 Gallon or larger
1 aquarium air pump
2 feet air line
1 3" or 4" plant pot
2 cups gro rock ( that is clean)
Hydro Nutrients
Food Coloring ( Ex : Blue )( If you want you hydro bud to have different color hairs on it. It will also most likely change the color on leaves a little bit.)
Flavored Extract ( EX : Blueberry)( Try to get it with out a lot of sugar that will kil he THC & ou wont even tell! But it will still look like some killer Bud)
Depending on the size of pots you will use, you will need to cut a hole in the lid to fit the pot. It is probably best to use 3" or larger pots . You may want to cut a half dozen holes big enough for roots to come out in to nutrient/water combination.
You will also need to drill or cut a small hole for the airline tube to come through. Make it as tight as possible so that you can make sure the air line stays off the bottom of the bucket.
Once you have the lid done, you can set it up.
Put airline through lid (keeping off bottom) attatch airstone and airpump. Place lid on bucket to see if it looks right.
Take off lid and then fill bucket with nutrient solution ( before you transplant into hydro system make sure you cannabis plant is has the nutrient solution before & is ready for the dosage or the acids in the Nutrient solution will kill it)& room temperature water (just let it sit so chlorine is distilled if you are using house water).
Make sure airpump is running and you should see lots of bubbles coming through solution.
Wait for the time when you would transplant them (in soil) to a larger pot and you can transplant your soil plants to hydro - just clean off the roots as well as possible (in lukewarm water) and place in system.
Take your pot and put a layer of gro-rock on bottom, and holding plant in one hand so that roots just lay over rock, fill the pot with rock or rockwool to the top and make sure plant stalk is in the middle of pot for better support.
This pot can now be placed in hole in bucket lid. Make sure that the nutrient level in the bucket is at least 1" or 2" above bottom of pot, so that the roots you placed in the pot are sitting in the nutrient solution (Which is Very Important) Otherwise your plant will dry up and die. It is also a good thing if you can position the airstone directly underneath the pot so all the bubbles hit the roots directly (Which is also A good thing!).
You are off and running. The system needs very little care for the first 3-4 weeks ater start. You can just watch them grow.
When using the nutrient solution you can start the plants out on a 50% solution ( depending on if your cannabis plant is use to it) and if all goes well for the first week or so, you can probably boost it up to 75% (depending on if your cannabis plant is use to it) and go from there. If you could raise temp of water do that & make sure the plants get enough hours of light like a plant grown in soil. One more thing make sure your airpump is clean I mean make sure it is brand new! Mold in it will affect your plants. Also check on it to make sure it doesn't clog that could kill your plant to do to no air in the roots.
Now you can customize this to your liking if you want to make it bigger or smaller good luck growing the earth's best freind

Quick & Efficient My Way
my school put food coloring in when they grow some white flower, thay make em blue red purple all diffrent colors. they sell these flowers on holiday to make money for the school, the flowers looked healthy so i dont think the food coloring would harm the plants at all. the stuff to flavor the bud might be bad but i have researched this and supposedly it doesnt harm in any way here is a link on how to do it: Flavoring
what do you mean by "grow rock" could i just use some large pebbles?

I personally would never think of putting food coloring and flavoring in any bud, I really don't like cheap gimmicks, also more crap in your lungs can't be good but if you can sell your bud at a higher price to people who do by all means do.
