As I'm sure you've heard by now, Mr. Robertson has called on the U.S. to assassinate Valenzuelan President Hugo Chavez - who by the way has offered to supply cheap gas and free healthcare to America's poor (http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/americ...eut/index.html).

This is the same guy, Robertson, who agreed with Jerry Falwell's assertion that the September, 11 attacks were caused by God's wrath because of U.S. tolerance for lesbians, gays and "abortionists."

It's also the same guy who said, "Maybe we need a very small nuke thrown off on Foggy Bottom (State Department) to shake things up like Newt Gingrich wants to do."

He's also the founder of the Christian Coalition, The Christian Broadcasting Network, International Family Entertainment Inc., Regent University, Operation Blessing International Relief and Development Corporation, American Center for Law and Justice and The Flying Hospital, Inc.

And a mighty fine human being at that.

Any thoughts on this beacon of Christian morality?

Just a note about potential U.S. roles in foreign assassinations: while they are technically illegal, they are only as such an under executive order signed by Ford, which any president can choose to violate legally at any time.
