Altenative to tying down the plant! Is this dangerous
You can actually take a bud stem and simply snap it in half....gently of course.
It will remain alive, assuming you didnt sever the stem
Snap the stem not the part that attaches to the branch.
It will remain alive and continue to flower.
The flower will dangle below and you will not have a height issue any longer.
I have NEVER done this on the main stem, only the secondaries.
Expertment with one or two and see for yourself.
They keep on growing
Sounds horrible doesnt it????
But I did it myself...by accident of course but learned a bit. It was already in flower for what thats worth.
Might want to get a second and twelfth opinion though
