when using itunes, if you plug in an ipod, it shows up on the left where your library and all of your playlists would be. if you dont see your ipod there, then itunes isn't detecting your ipod and you have some sort of configuration issue. try rebooting =P

MeatRulz, it's $1 per song for iTunes, but any mp3 files will work on an iPod... doesn't matter where you got them.

PotSmoky, actually, importing is how you get the file (song) 'into' your computer. Burning a cd, transferring a file, or downloading onto your iPod is actually exporting. So even if there was an 'import' button, it would be the improper task for what you want.

To load your iPod, plug it into your computer with its cable. It should automatically start grabbing all the music out of your iTunes. If it can hold all your music, yay, you're done! If not, wait til it does its lil updating thing. When it stops updating, click on the little iPod button (has a pic of an iPod) in the lower right part of the window. A menu will appear, & you can pick options such as "download only checked playlists" or "only checked songs". Then you just check all the music you want all there (& leave unchecked any you don't), & let it know. Tada!
