dookie is one of the greatest albums of all time. I too knew all the words before i was in 3rd grade haha Now they are all anti-american and shit, i dont like it.

MRB041 Reviewed by MRB041 on 08-20-2005. Greenday I used to love Greenday. Dookie, Nimrod, Insomiac..all great albums. I knew every word to every song on Dookie before I even got to 3rd grade. I'm happy for them with their recent success, i'm not a big fan of their new album though. Anyways, I just thought it was funny how all these teenie boppers and tweenies are so obsessed with Greenday, and they don't even know the meaning of 'greenday'. Hell, half their new found fanbase doesn't know what it means. Rating: 5

They're just anti-bush. And anti-bush decisions. You can't hate 'em though, they're doing what they're pationate about, that's all that really matters.

I use to like them too when Dookie came out, but now, I don't care much for them. At first, the whole 3-chord songs were simple and fun to play, but they get really boring after time...to play and to listen to. They would be better band if Billy Joe didn't think he was a rock god or something. I mean, he isn't that good. I was playing that good after about 3 years of playing. It's like they never advanced. They are just the same band as they were back then, which to older folks now, is boring.

But hey, if people are happy listening to it, then that's fine by me.
