Hi, what is the ph meant to be when growing in bio-bizz soil?

at the moment i think its 7, i tested it by putting a syringe in the soil to get water from the soil, the used 1 of them colour charts to see the colour of the ph level and it was about 7.
    Cheers

They suggest that 6.5 is about perfect for soil. At least that's what I've read.
