pregnant and concerned
Hi all...
I found out about 2 mths ago, I was pregnant with our first child. We were a bit suprised, but then again most couples are, I figure. I have been about a pack and 1/2 smoker since I was 20, and Im 37 now... OLD
, I'm trying despreatly to quit smoking down to about 9-10 a day now... still trying. I've smoked pot since I was 17, everyday of my life... minus a couple none typical events. I have suffered from intense cronic knee pain (both knees) since a car accident when I was involved in at the age of 14. (k... that's all the justification Im gonna note) Always gone thru a few joints a day. Down to about 1 jt now. But I find it unbelievably difficult to do less than that. Can some of you out there that might have some insight on this and the effect I may have on my baby. I keep getting told how bad nicatine is, that Im struggling to stop that, but I have no idea about the effects of THC and such. Looking for honest information on this.
thanx,
all input is greatly appreciated.
Im now in my 4 th mth, and pretty terrified.
My husband and I are excited about this, but as the one carring the load, I'm scared.

Definately quit smoking ciggarettes, even if it kils you to do it. Just sheer willpower is all ya need. Thats all I needed to throw them down. As for the weed, thats probably also a bad idea, although there seems to be no solid medical research on that. Just to be safe, I would STOP inhaling any and all burning smoke off of a plant.... try eating it in brownies or using a good vaporizer....
Better not to gamble with a human life.

anything that goes into your lungs & limits the amount of oxygen they can absorb will negatively affect a fetus. here in michigan all hospitals test baby fecal matter @ birth for signs of marijuana, cocaine, & herion. r

Please stop getting high when you are pregnant. I was 19 when I got pregnant and a major pot smoker. (still am) But I stopped smoking pot during my pregnancy. You can smoke after. Cigs were harder for me. Check out online pics and videos of babies in the womb while smoke is inhaled. It helped me.

it will fuck your child up if you depend on thc for your pain relief try using a vaporiser allthough this is bad advice as anything you absorb the baby will also absorb so when your stoned as fuck think of what it would do to a 2 month old feutus i rely on thc but i would stop if it threatened my kid the choice is yours
