Hydro is way better that soil growin.....
Just my opinion though. I'm new to hydro and i was amazed to see the roots on my first two cuttings. (see pic) They were cut seven days ago.

Do I see more than 1 clone in a pot, better watch out before the roots entangle, then you're screwed...you need to give each plant it's own pot...goodluck

The roots will tangle into each other and into the net pots. Removing them will damage the roots. In clones they are very delicate and break off easy.
That is what he was talking about.
