what? you were not holding a gun in that war and your duty was to clean the toilets? hey man since you're so much concerned about the freedom of america and you want to fight for it you should join the army again and fight along with the rest of the dickheads in afghanistan or iraq instead of bla bla bla bla bla in a peaceful and openminded forum like this one.... "

First off..I didn't go to Vietnam..I just missed that one..Secondly,the military did not lose the war in Vietnam,the politicians decided to pull out before we should have and did not give the military what it neded to finish the job. As a result of civil protest and spine-less politicians,the commies over-run Cambodia,Laos and Vietnam..and murdered millions. We were there to stop the commies from taking over,but by pulling out before we should have,as is wanted by many in regards to Iraq,disasterous consequences resulted.

I joined the Navy,when I was only 17..I didn't clean toilets,but was training to be an FT,fire control technician,a feller who launches missiles from a ship..yup..I was gonna have my finger on the big red button..I hope that sends a chill down yer spine...I have over 3 years of electronics training under my belt and I can't help but wonder..have you ever gone to college and earned a degree ?

As for me going back in,I wish that I could,but I'm too old and crippled and they won't let me come back..caling my fellow veterans and soldiers,'dickheads',for trying to give folks a chance for Freedom..just lets me know that you selfishly cling to yer freedom..with no compunctions about giving other folks the same..that's not only sad..but cowardly.

I'm here to give my take on things,to let folks know that there are other opinions besides the usual cowardly leftie crap..not to be the best poster or win a popularity contest..that's something that the liberal mind-set seeks,as they are mostly vain and self-centered and feel the need to make friends with everyone.
