U.S. Let bin Laden Slip AwayTurns out Bush could have nailed him years ago.

According to the CIA field commander at Tora Bora, U.S. intelligence absolutely knew that Osama Bin Laden was not only present, but virtually trapped. All the CIA and Special Forces guys needed was additional conventional support to cut off his escape, and Bin Laden would have been arrested.

This was in December of 2001.

But Bush and Rumsfeld never sent the additional troops.

U.S. Let bin Laden Slip AwayThis is what I dont get , ok. Admittedly the USA isnt all "righteous" however. Other countries that are republics and claim freedom have assasinated people before so lets not say the USA is the only one. (just want to make that point before I continue).

Here's a good idea for future "cia" operations. When you abandon someone you've trained for over a decade and funded. SHOOT THEM WHEN YOU LEAVE.......seriously I'm not a big fan of USA policies. But seriously that would have saved thousands of lives. (of course russia might own afghanistan now hehe, but I'm not going to speculate on that part).

(and no I'm still what most of you would call a commie liberal pinko so don't think i've changed I just have no aversion to violence. I do after all serve under MY religion of Natural Selection.) so don't think i've changed I just have no aversion to violence. I do after all serve under MY religion of Natural Selection.)
