look take a bic pen, bite down mad hard on the ink end and pull the pen part out, then take out the little plastic plug at the end of the pen. take ur apple, place it on a table, and pretending that the stem is a police officer or someone you really hate, stab the shit outta the apple, straight thru the core. then put your red delicious on its side, and making sure that both holes collide, slowly push your pen through the apple and pull it out the other side.. now take that plug from the pen and plug up the bottom of the apple, and ur set, bowl, mouthpeice and carb, all from the wonders of ur own fridge
