Also, this inside of the house on the stove with the air drawing exhaust is a dangerous proposition.

The $25.00 spent at wal mart for the portable electric stove top so you can do outside is far better than risking life and limb.

The freezer acts as a stabilizer.

It concentates the trichs so the alcohol has less surface area to have to work on.

One of the drawbacks of an alcohol hash oil make up is it can draw far more than the pure THC from the weed.

It acts as a solvent on the nutes, the chlorophyll and everything else.

Keeping the weed parts cold limits the extraction of the impurities to a degree. It just makes for a purer oil than say room temp solvent would.
