    odly enough, me too. but yeah, adaware SE is an excellent program that EVERYBODY with internet should have.

    I guess the money goes towards running this site (which can be expensive with all the massive server room they have to rent), as well as general education, doing research, and getting the word out.

    oh also, don't trust any of those links to sites that display on the right of a google search page, it's pretty much all spy/adware.

    There are NO pop-up ads of any kind.

    Folks seeing pop-ads have spyware and/or other crap in the computer.

    Folks running Windows - running anything less than Windows XP SP2 is asking for trouble.

    Disabling (or more realistically setting to 'prompt') Active-X in browser security settings (MSIE) alone will eliminate much problems.

    i didnt think they was any here,id never seen any.
    yahoo geocities always has one,unless i've the pop ups off' box checked
    SP2 really helped me striaghten out some things ,
    i had a exploit with outlook express being a pain untill SP2 installed
    i think i was being used to email people without wanting too
    kept getting those replys from people i never emialed ect.

    I use spybot on my system and it got rid of tons of spyware
