your not allowed to smoke in streeets, restraunt etc.

you are allowed to in your hotel room ( i think ) or if you have a house there, and coffe shops.

that's pretty much it, i think at concerts and stuff also...

yeah i was kinda wondering if u were allowed to buy bud in a coffee shop and take it elsewhere to smoke... so what is it illegal in a park with no1 around??

I went to Dam for 5 days. We stayed in a hostel, and I burned like mad in the room and no one said shit.
Basically you can only smoke in a coffeeshop. You can't just walk into any business and spark one up.
BUT, I didn't see hardly any cops there...only at the Anti-Bush rally.
If you are being discreet and polite and not a flaming asshole, you should be OK if you want to blaze in a park. I suggest Vondel Park, it's one of the biggest parks in Europe and it's real nice in there.
Just use your discretion man. Weed is not REALLY legal there...just tolerated and taxed and stuff. But smoking in a coffeeshop is cool man. Some of them (very very few) also serve alcohol!! However, in the next 2 years, businesses are going to have to decide one or the other. So go while you can still get both under the same roof!! Have fun man, and light one up for all of us!

hey thanks for the replys, i sure will fire a fatty up for u guys! yeah, like here in uk we all smoke anywhere we want, just act normal, not suspicious an its fine, i gathered it might be the same there, so its cool we can smoke in parks.
