If you do it in quick pulses for a few seconds, a nug'll bust it up really good but won't make it powdery, and thus impossible to roll. I just fucking hate breaking up with my hands. It's so time consuming, which is why I stick to KB. I'll always have this conversation with my father where he's like "Well, I don't want to break it up" and I say "Well, I don't either." Then, like a lightbulb going off, "Coffee grinder!" Just don't overdo it, and take it in baby steps. Powder isn't good for anything but cooking.
