and i found that the greenhouse is supposedly recommended by everyone

that's cool i bet... if your bored. i forgot where, but theres an actual plant growing in one of the places.

On these boards from what I've read, it seems like a lot of the users that have visited really enjoyed Barney's Breakfast Bar. I also read on a coffee shop guide that it was one of the best ones. Hope that helps some.

that sounds like what i would try right there
if only i could walk into there with a pocket full of bills i think they would eject me at some piont for i would see if i could be put to sleep with hash and budds,and try a variety of course
if i was there a few days i think i'd want to save the best for last day,maybe go through some others,all i could in what time i had,
or just smoke all the best,the entire time if that ya liking, me i like to try strians of budd so different hashes would definatly have me mesmerized

This question is for anyone familiar with the lay of the land in A'dam.
My husband and I are going there this coming Monday. We're staying at the Hem Hotel. 250 Voorburgstraat. I've referred to a few coffeeshop guide maps and our hotel area isn't included in any of them. Is there a coffeeshop very close to our hotel?

We're lazy bastards and want to score a bit of smoke as soon as we check into the hotel. We plan on visiting as many of the more notable shops during our stay.

Thanks for any advice, tips or clues.

my biggest complaint about the lay-out of coffee shops in amsterdam is the fact that they are so far in between, im sure you'll find one near the area but for a true scent of the culture id go out exploreing....also many other cities across the netherlands and europe have coffee shops....there less of a hassel and more on the quite side...my personal favorite is a town called Masstrict.. they have a little area next to the shops downtown with a good ten or more shops all around each other...

have fun!! and be sure to take advantage of the good hash!
