Another A'dam question

This question is for anyone familiar with the lay of the land in A'dam.
My husband and I are going there this coming Monday. We're staying at the Hem Hotel. 250 Voorburgstraat. I've referred to a few coffeeshop guide maps and our hotel area isn't included in any of them. Is there a coffeeshop very close to our hotel?

We're lazy bastards and want to score a bit of smoke as soon as we check into the hotel. We plan on visiting as many of the more notable shops during our stay.

This is my first trip and hopefully a memorable one. You really need to look into going for a few days. You can really do it on the cheap,,,loads of offers out there. I'll smoke a bowl in your honor.

i plan to go to the dam' but i'm not old enough yet. lol
