well many of you who read this prob won't care or even give a damm bout posting, so im saying this to the minority who do care and like to help others out like myself.

ok it may sound extremely pathetic but it is very unfair and extremely stubborn of my father, he moans that me and my brother leave stuff out of the fridge e.g milk, butter etc. leave sauce out and etc and etc. but my dad says 'im fucking fed up of tidying your mess up'' but the truth is my dad always leaves dirty knives out, bread crumbs everywhere, cups and plates all over the house, undrunk tea on my pc desk which pisses me right off, always leaves his washing up, and even if me or my brother put like one cup in there he has a 12 year old tantrum and starts yelling about how he has to clean up after us. he always leaves sauces out even WORSE than me and my brothers, like without the lids on, butter without a lid on, leaves doors open, paper towels and clothes all over the counter, anotehr words, very very messy.

and i'm just getting fed up of it, if i confront him about it, he starts to yell ''dont fucking answer back to me'' and even if i get him in a right mood of judgement by saying i always clean your mess up, prove evidence and etc, then my mum butts in and says 'yeh but ive always gotta clean your mess up', another point that fucks me off, my mum always sticks up 4 my dad even if hes wrong..........she wud cook him dinner sumtimes and not me.........i ask her y she didnt cook anything 4 me cuz ur able 2 cook it 4 him......and she jus goes *huff* and walks out the room.

to be honest i think this is a fucking embarrasement to me and my family bcoz me and my brothers act extremely differently, we look out for on another, we get each other stuff n etc, but my mum and dad just feel like they r not related to me, i know it may sound very harsh, and i know its not true but it has been like this for ages.

what do you recommend i do? if i keep argueing at my dad he will probably end up hitting me or punishing me unlike my mum will just slither up to my dad. suggestions please if you would......i'm going for a joint..........peace.

Yer parent's parents said the same shit to them as they are to you, and its for a reason. I always used to disregard everythin my parents told me but then i grew a brain and grew the fuck up. now i realize that everythin my parents told me wuz fer my own good, and i will be tellin my little guys that same shit when and if i ever have kids. im 17 and i do more cleanin in my house then my mom does for fucks sake lol. but thats becuz i dont help pay the mortgage, i dont buy gas for the car, i dont put the food on the table, she does, so keepin shit tidy is the least i can do even if im cleaning up her mess. the reason ur dad yells at u is becuz he thinks u disregard everythin he says. show him that u listen, tell him u gunna start tryin harder, and then u will start to c the respect grow between the 2 of yah. now thats some priceless advice.

You know things got strange here when I hit 16, oh back in the day...
But I learned alot over the years about surviving, and eventually actually living well.
1) they pay for everything, and that makes them "right" may not be the case, but that is the circomlocuitous be all and end all of the argument. You dont like it pack up and leave (and thats rarely practical)
2) You need a goal, an exit strategy, something...For me I learned a trade, and my old man actually has to slither up to me now for work, you gotta take the power back! You have to know where your going in other words, school, colledge, training, career, whatever, do something with your life so you will be able to sustain it INDEPENDANTLY and then do what you really want.
3) you need wheels, get a car get a license, you are not really a fully functioning human being if you cant go where you need, when you need to, public transit is for suckers. Im a greenie and all, but you need to be able to be where you need to be when you need to be.
4) if your home isnt your home anymore, think of it more like a place someone is letting you stay at, not really family. That way of thinking helped me be alot more considerate of the environment, parry alot of the shit that would come at me away and also more importantly, when it really is righteous indignation, and i can stand my ground.
5) dont leave abything for them to take care of, no messes, do your own laundry, make your own food, buy it if you can, dont expect to be catered to or cared for in any way, loose the sense of entitlement, they dont really owe you anything. You are a net loss on their budget hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, they love you enough to still feed you and care for you, and they take the frustration that causes out on you by treating you like a lump of shit once in awhile, big deal its still free food.

Dont know if i can be clearer, but take it easy there dood, its going to pass through you like water or over you like a tank, the power is yours.
