These picture's illustrate, after i cut back a little foilage i whip up a little plant prod 10-52-10 and mix it in ph balanced water!,ever so slightly though! just a little sprinkle in a litre of water, almost like feeding your gold fish lol, nowhere near 1/4 recommended strength, almost in the ppmillions, just a little pinch throw all your cuttings into the water and let stand for about 10 minutes or so,allowing the fresh cuttings to get a little something to eat for it's long haul!

I then take dinner plates, put a little rooting powder on there, and lay out the plates to lay my different cuttings on.

Once all the prep work is done,I shake the remainder water off my cuttings slightly then proceed to roll the bottom end of the cutting into a rooting powder!,I lay all the freshly rolled cutings onto the dinner plates, all plates are color coded so I don't get the strains mixed up! I could probably tell the difference anyhow but sometimes it's hard and at this point in the cutting process you want to keep everything labled I use color sticky tabs, right throughout my grow!.

Never got into cloneing with peat pucks or rockwool yet but have stuck to a method I find is great!

I use a soil mix with perlite, more on the perlite side though, now of course you can root your clones just in perlite but what I like to do is use a bit of soil as well, mixed in with the perlite, that way my medium stays wet a little longer and less chance of drying out!,and when the cuttings root they have a little soil to eat from! I also find a little soil mixed in helps keep the cutting tightly into the medium, perlite on it's own stands a little loose, the water I use on the soil/perlite mix,is ph balanced.now it takes me about 6 to 7 days to get the cuttings to root and at 10 days I am ready to take cuttings from plastic containers to a planting pot...I use dome covered mediums, and a spray bottle to keep things moist,I also use a few flourecent lights directly under the clone trays,to keep the tempature up in the dome covered medium,if you don't warm the bottom of the clone tray and keep the clones above room tempature it will take alot longer to get the cuttings to root!,and if the trays are to cold underneath the cuttings may get a mold problem before ever rooting, keep the under side of the clones warm I can't stress that enough, you can lay the clone tray right on top of the lights if you want.when I first started clong it was a ruff start I did everything right but failed to keep the clones warm exspecially the underside, and failed many attempt's,but since I lay them on a doubled flourecent tube light it has been perfect, roots are kept nice and warm and grow crazy!...........

I lift the lid off sometimes up to three times a day,to allow the cuttings to breath, but as long as the dome remains wet spraying isn't needed ,but I like keeping it a little moist....

These pictures show freshly cut clones and clones that are a couple of days after being cut, they are a mixture of all the strains that I indicated earlier, all cuttings and strains are marked with colored sticky tabs stuck to the side of the grow medium...

The last picture above with the 7 plants in pots are not clones they are the seeds I spoke about earlier, that were given to me from a friend of a friend of mine,I don't even know the strain! but will see what it offers over the next several months...

These cuttings you see now are the most recent, they are about 4- 5 days old, there are several leaves that are turning yellow and it looks as if several leaves are dying, but I won't cut them off yet, even though a mold problem due to the dead leaves could happen but I won't let it go that far, what looks like dead foilage isn't, believe it or not the yellowing leaves aren't completely dead yet,the cuttings are using the leaves as food that was stored up!,if I remove the yellow leaves completely the clone will continue to eat other leaves, just allow the yellow leaves to remain a extra day or two before clearing out the dead leaves monitor the medium closely, just for now allow lid to come off more often, and don't let the yellow leaves touch the soil or medium,I will remove the yellow and dead foilage very soon, just wanted the cuttings to suck everything it could out of the yellowing leaves............. Thats it for now for the updates: but will update every chance I get..

I included a picture of all 5 strains seprate from one another! they are about 24 days into flowering! all the cuttings I took are from these five strains!
