All fan leaves just collapsed on one plant??

One of my soil embedded plants (4 gallon pot)has had all the fan leaves collapse in a matter of hours. I suspect not enough water. it is 3 weeks into flowering and has been doing great up until this. just been watering with correct Ph water. 1000 watt hps with bake around cool tube at safe distance. any ideas?
was also wondering , I don'y have the problem but what causes the very tips of the leaves to turn yellow ? just curious.
My first indoor grow Hydros doing great and soil plants for the most part are too but have had this problem of collapsed fan leaves and one other problem both in soil , go figure.
Check this out..... out of 15 three not sure yet the other 12 all girls from seed. what are the odds of that?

    thanks bill

It is not enough water, I had the same problem where the leafs just droop over and are still green. The stock isnt strong enough to support them, just start feeding your babys with more water and you they should sprout back up within the hour.

Why are you not using nutrients?

I bet it's starving for nutrients (I hope you are not using Miracle grow)

Even in soil it could drink up to 1/2 a gallon a day in the right conditions.

All fan leaves just collapsed on one plant??

I watered heavy and by the time I posted this thread and read through a few post the plant had recovered amazingly so. Been so enthralled in Ph, nutes watering and making the drippers work for my hydro I just hadn't been giving my soil plants enough attention. ( freaked me out though)
Been giving my hydro nutes accordingly and give soil grow a shot of super thrive every week and a half or so. Should I be using more of something?? I have tried to keep my hydro simple using GH 3 part . I correct the ph then add micro /grow/bloom, check my ph and ppm both coming from my resevoir and after it comes back fro my plants too. I'm sure I could be adding something more . Zandor what would you recommend at this point that would be the most beneficial that I should start using (couple weeks into flower, buds forming on all but soil plants so far)?
Is there a particulary good time to take clone cutting? Zandor doesn't putting a sprinkler in your cloner put out to much water spray?maybe I'm a bit confused on how that works (confused I get sometimes - lol)?
    thanks guys

you've kept it simple, and that's cool...if you want to add something, just maybe one thing that would be great and keep the simplicity, as well as not overwhelming you or your plants, would be Liquid Karma, by Botanicare...I guarantee, your hydro supplier has it and will probably recommend it. It has both humic and fulvic acid, as well as,
some essential organics. It did wonders for my grow...
are you using hygrozyme or sensizyme in your res?

not familiar with either hygrozyme or sensizyme but am interested to find out what the skinny is on them. I think I have really lucked out so far . I read alot and got some great help here and form Zandor of course but reading and learnming and absorbing it all are two different things yet on hope and a prayer seem to be winging through pretty well. So any additional information is welcomed and appreciated

I have heard of liquid karma have to pick up some more 3 part GH so I will keep it in mind, feel like the girls need something for a treat. Does it stimulate flowering? I'll drop em in my search engine and let em roll.

Thanks for the tips there Latewood, Bill
P>S> might that be the Redwoods?
