    seedling slow growth

my seedling is 1 month 2 weeks old and is only 7 cm tall and has about 10 tiny leaves, the top newer growth is a light green/white color including the new leaves but after they grow however small it is they grow it turns a green color, i have it under a 400 watt mh on 24, in a pot of soil, any suggestions why its growing so slowly?

I was going to say its your lighting, but if you're using a 400watt MH then there should be no problem. It has to be something in your nutes/soil , by the way what strain is it? If its low-ryder it could be roughly the right size.

have you used any nuts so far? more or less you should not use any nuts during the veg state....

it should be one of the following:

soil:if the soil that you use does not drain well you may face a problem, if on the other hand drains too fast you may have a problem as well...

nuts:as i mention above you should not need to use any ferts throughout the entire veg state

air quality: the air should be replenished and circulated with the use of a fan

temperature: the temperature levels should not exceed over 30-32 (with co2 enrichment) degrees Celcius.....the hps&mh lights are known that they emit high levels of heat during their operation....what's the temperature in your grow room....what type of grow space do you grow in? is it a closet? do you monitor the temperature?

that's all i can think of asking for now.....also try to post some pics if possible, it's gonna be more helpful for us to answer.....

    take care

whadaya mean no nutes for entire veg...the man in in his 6-7 week...The question is: are you using any nutes/ferts...how much water have you used...what is the ph of the soil that you are using...answer these question's aand we might be able to steer you in right direction, even without pic's, but it is like doing a haircut over the phone...later
