dry ice is a way I learned from dylan, make sure you plants never contact it though! and if you have money, get a c02 discharge system so you can moniter the levels

co2 is mostly used in vegatative stage to build more leaf mass, during flowering the effects are not as effective

yes that is true you can mix yeast, water and sugar and it will produce a slow amount of CO2 for over a week BUT... BUT.... HOWEVER, from my PERSONAL experience (in retrospect i kicked myself) if you have a hydro system, i would say to NOT use this because if ONE freakin yeast particle gets in the water, it will just reproduce at speeds that you cannot control and your system will have a YEAST INFECTION.

did you know that when women get yeast infections, they have a natural bacteria inside them that is like the bacteria in yogurt and when that bacteria meets the yeast,,,,,it produces..... H2O2 HYDROGEN PEROXIDE!!! tadaaaa!!!!! cool huh? so yes if you do use yeast (i recommend not) make sure you have hydrogen peroxide in your REZ at safe levels. as that will also help your roots get oxygen.

i creat co2 by breathing on them AND putting a teaspoon at a time in a small bowl of BAKING SODA and VINEGAR. that gives it a good small shot of co2 if you have a smaller growing area,,,,,plus i put a CANDLE in a empty COFFEE CAN (i like small tea lighs or the religious kind in glass, they burn better) and it burn oxygen and releases co2!!! of course that happens ONLY when i'm in the area and can monitor it off and on. hope this couple other ideas help to give your plant co2

Yes; but not above the 200-300 ppm that is in the air by nature. To grow successfully with co2 you need to get it up to 1500 ppm and keep it there for the light period. Then run exhaust and exchange the air and do it all over again the next light period. Dry Ice does work and is easy to use, it can add up though. Like 5 pounds a day for the whole period get expensive. Even if you only used it every other day to save money you would see a big difference in the end.

another thing with c02 is proper temps for the plant to metabolize it properly. if the temps arent in the right range, the plant simply does not use the extra c02. Plus, if c02 came from AC units, there would be a lot of dead people running around, lol.
