Erm, petrol engines produce carbonmonoxide not carbondioxide, I wouldn't.
Find a gardening store and buy some liquid CO2, or talk to your plants! You produce CO2 every time you breathe out

co2 from air conditioners?
if the unit is a closed type(no vent)it will just recycle the air in the room(no additional CO2).but if it has a air vent switch open all the way, you'll get at least 20%fresh air mixed with the cooled recycled air that'll have some "CO2"in it....bonbon

HvyFuel, I never thought of that, but you are right. If you talk to your plants you would give them a lot more CO2. Would only work if you had a small amount of plants. I talk to mine a lot and play music for them. Music works great, especially in the morning right before watering. I am copying the SonicBloom tech, but I play classical music for them and water them 45 minutes later. They are doing even better since I started that!
You are the deciding factor in your life!

Air Conditioners do not produce any Co2.
They may exchange up to 20% of the air if set up to run that way but in itself it produces no by products other than heat and cold. And it actually does not produce that, it just transfers it from one area to another.
