potheads usually have a good taste in music....ive classified music into a few main genres, i know they can be mixed and matched and some bands fall under more than one category, just generalize the best you can.....I personally like all equally but i like more bands in metal than any other genre so i vote metal.....which is your fav

alternative
tea party, anathema, red hot chillie peppers, prodigy, matchbox 20 etc.

nu metal/punk/screamo/hardcore
slipknot, disturbed, as i lay dying,eighteen visions, thursday, etc.

rap
2pac/eminem/dre, etc

techno
i dunno any but its cool

pop
top 40 from last 50 years lets say

jazz/classical/instrumental/blues/necoclassical
bb king, joe satriani, steve vai, don ross, michael hedges, yngwie , paul giblert, al di molea, allan holdsworth, frank gabale, charlie christianetc ,etc

Yeah I love classic rock but not the whole heavy deal, you should have made those two seperate. Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, Rush, Bob Dylan...all that good stuff. Classic Rock songs have so much reference to pot.
