Law about poppyOpium comes from a different kind of poppy than the ones that come on bagels. I'm sure that it is illegal, though. I'm sure that it is illegal, though.

Law about poppyNo, it's the same poppy. Seeds will get you high, but it requires a shitload of them, and the tea is a greasy, bitter, disgusting mess. Poppy seed bagels can (in theory, at least) give a false positive for opiates on a UA. Poppy PODS are the way to go. They are legal, assuming you plan to use them as floral decorations (which, of course, we all are!) Growing is a different story, if you have a half dozen plants mixed in with lots of other pretty flowers, the odds of you being prosecuted are next to nothing, if you have an acre of the things, or if the pods have been sliced to obtain opium, goodbye, don't forget to write! \"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will, within limits drawn by the equal rights of others. I do not add \"within the limits of the law\', because law if often but the tyrant\'s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.\"-Thomas Jefferson.

Law about poppyPapaver Somniferum is what you want specifically, but other varieties of poppies will also produce an alkaloid-rich latex that can be dried and smoked. The seeds are legal, most people wouldn't recognize the plants themselves. I agree with andruejaysin, in that you shouldn't encounter any problems growing the things and once the petals fall off revealing the pods you can yank them and scrape.

Law about poppyThere may be cheaper sites, but their quality is as good as it gets. \"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will, within limits drawn by the equal rights of others.
