Zandor, Harddon, Or Latewood, OK read this and tell me what you think.

    Materials used:
    superthrive
    MG leaf shine
Vase(all I had to work with)
    airiater-airstone
    shultz rooting powder/hormone

Ok, I posted this in indoor growing, but thought Id get better response here. I clipped a clone and cut the end at a 45 degree angle. Then filled the vase a quater of the way up with water/superthrive mix. Then I cut a stopper out of styrofoam, cut a hole for the clipping and cut a hole for the airstone hose. I dipped the clone into the rooting hormone(about for inches from the bottom) then set it at about a couple centameters above the water. I put the airstone submerged in the water an sealed the plug. What did I do right/wrong? In need of constructive criticism...or props. how did I do. Also how often do I need to change the water, if at all?

Here are pics of the final product. thanks all for responses, and help in the past.

If picture 2 is the same clone it looks to be fine. What problem are you having?

Change the water every 5-7 day's in a container that small would be safe.

No problem, Zandor, I was just seeing if I got things right this time. Its not the same clone as lat time, I cut a new one last night, and made this thing up under latewoods bubbler....a lot smaller, but I think its the same thing. Thanks anyways-emtpockets

it looks good, excellent even(!) but i don't understand the "leaf shine" part. it's not needed and will eventually clog up the pores on the leaves...but it does make em look pretty!

seriously, lose the shine. not needed...

This is a quote from Cloning101..."You do not need to have a humidity dome over the clones. Thatā??s what the Anti-wilt is for. Itā??s like a food wax that is used in produce and vegetables to keep them fresh and looking good for us to buy. HD sells a product I canā??t remember the name but itā??s a wax product that you can spray on leaves to keep them clean. I have not tried it yet but I bet itā??s the same thing. I just donā??t like sprays too much waste." Well, The leaf shine is a waxy type spray, I checked it out and I used it instead of tracking down what Zandor uses. It worked great IMHO. I didn' use it but once, a quick spritz, when I put clones in cloner, then once after 7 days, because they were drooping, after a quick spritz, they picked up within an hour and they are thriving in my veg room. I guess, different strokes, eh...
Del, I know It's a Miracle Grow product and that taints it ROTB, but it worked for me bro' as a substitute for anti-wilt concentrate.later.peace...Just want to keep learning, no offense...Thanks for being here...

It does not clog the stomata at all. It replaces the need for a humidity dome and keeps an even temperature through the leaves keeping the inside moist. Giving the stem a chance to root.

The product I use Anti-Wilt is better then leaf shine only because it does have vitamins, oils and minerals the plant needs anyway. It's fairly new to me I have only been using it for about 2 years but I have had great success with it.

I'm not sure about leaf shine but I assume there is something like that with it as well. After all if somebody uses it and kills their plants they would demand their money back and the company would be only have one chance to make a sale. (Just using logic).
