HARDDON's FIRST SOG
Cannabuds....
Today is their 3rd day in flower. They just went to sleep after their 2nd cycle of 12/12.
I wont be posting updates daily any longer as I will switch to weekly updates during flower. I can already assure you though that even 20 day old plants will double or triple in height
This evening when they wake up, I am going to have to raise the lights already as they have all grown maybe 4 inches in the last 2 days.
Also, as they mature, Many are now having their secondaries show alternating stems already. Very interesting.
I miss posting daily updates but, really, there is not much to see other than taller versions of what I have shown for 20 days straight. I do have one that is already exposed abot 5 secondaries above the canopy.
A shame to flower so young...she could have given me 10 - 11 ounces had I the space.
Anyhow day 23 of life
....day 3 in flower.
Shhhhhhh......the little whores and future cunts are sleeping

HARDDON's FIRST SOG
To those following this SOG, I had intended to not post anything but weekly updates. Upon reflection, that probably isn't justice to the spirit of learning...and teaching....that we have here.
I realized tonight whilst I was looking at them, that really they are in another stage, of most importance to the SOG as I am learning.
That being said, there are a few items if interest in the SOG that might be beneficial to some, or, I could get advice from someone who has SOG'd before.
So, I will post occasional updates more frequently than I planned so as to show the veg to flower stage.
Here we are on day 3 of flower.....
Observations:
Plant height has taken off across the board. There are two runts. One of them was stressed when I made her hole to small and I shoved her down anyhow like a LateWood mad scientist might in my tiring of transplanting
So a benchmark here on day 3.....photo shows I have 18" left till I hit top. I have to consider light height and such....I figure I can get the lights 4" from the top...that leaves me 14".
Next the height from the bulbs....With good fans I can get them within 6"....
So that leaves me 8" of height in a 34" ceiling clearance.
The plants have grown a solid 3.5 - 4" in 3 days......
So already those planning a SOG...don;t veg more than 21 days. I think I will have enuff room....but for you contemplating a SOG becasue of height....pay attention to how much and how fast these grow.

Next subject would be the follow up on the stressless transplanting.
Here are pics showing complete acceptance of the transplant. This happened within 48 - 72 hours of transplanting. They were given a solid 6 inches of new depth to grow thru.
They did it without blinking an eye in days

And finally, a thing to think about...
Taking care of 18 fast growing plants is a lot more time consuming than taking care of 2 or 3.
You still need to intimately observe each plant in detail...in study and look at every single plant, every single leaf, node and stem.
It's important to not let the number to be cared for overwhelm you.
I check each plant 2 -3 times a day...carefully studying and catalouging everything. Only because I want to learn....if nothing else.
I am not interested in just growing smoke at all. I really wanna be a master in the art
Anyhow, during my thorough examinations, I came across this little fucker and handled business before it got outta control
In a matter of days this could have been devastating in a tight indoor grow like a SOG
