Thanks and I plan on vegging them until I run out of room....last time it was 40 days.

I flower with 250W HPS for red spectrum, 250W MH for UV-B rays and some CFL's on the lower parts to keep the leaves alive down there at the bottom.

The HPS/MH combo I've heard great things about...

Not only high bud production but thick bushy healthy plants that yield nicely.

I want to see how those 3 and the SOG react to those fun stuff

Have you had great success with the HPS/MH combo??

By my definition of great, I would say yes.

But the MH is more for the UV-B rays than anything else.

My sq ft area is 3.75 so my HPS alone would do nicely for the flowers. The MH is an added spike to try and crank up the resin production. But to do it properly I need another HPS 250W to add to the mix so I can get my 2:1 ratio that I really need.

Course I could drop the MH down to 150......hmmmm....

Why? I've used mirical grow in all my plants and they are looking really good. I mean, I'm open to sugestion, but I don't think MG is all that bad for a soil medium.

A few things I've learned along the way about germination, The best process I've found is taking a zip lock bag, get two paper towels and wet them, make sure they aren't driping wet, but very wet, fold the two paper towels together in half, put the seeds on one half of the half, and then fold it over again, put it in a zip lock bag that barely fits it and make sure some air is in there as well, Then just hide it for 2 days. For about 3 days after the first seed cracks, you'll have alot of seedlings, wait till you can actually see the leafy part, then plant them with the leafy part sticking out. and the root just below the soil. DON'T TOUCH THE ROOT! You'll have them looking healthy 8 hours after you plant them this way, and you won't have gone to all the extra work of setting up additional pots for seeds that don't sprout.

Did you buy your lights online? Or at a store? I'm strapped for cash right now so my SoG test bed is takin a hit, I have 4 CFLs 2 3500k and two full spectrum, my plants are growing at a rather optimum rate even though the lights aren't great, I'd like to change them out with better lights so how much did those lights run you?

That root growth is pretty intense. Maybe next round you use the same crazy ferts but spray the inside of your pots with 2 coats of copper paint. (Not paint colored like copper, actual copper flec in the paint) This paint will stunt growth of roots when they hit the edges or botom of your container, this may sound like a bad idea, but it'll encourage secondary offshoots so you'll have a much thicker root base without running out of soil space as fast.

I will probably transplant on day 19.....allow two days for recovery and then place in flower on day 22.

This is the post i have waited for all day the update on the on Hard On's bitches! lol well seems like you got you some over acheivers in the bunch Hard On i took your pic and went to paint to point the ones out of couse you know but want to point out to everyone else and btw the 3 that you are doing full veg where you got them stuck and how do you plan to do flower when the others are ready and the ones on full veg are not unless you have another room im not sure if you had said so im asking thanks for the daily updates look foward to them im moving in a month to new place and when i get there i will be starting a SoG my self and will need your help and guidance in doing so.... and of course when there ready you will be the first one with several fatty's to sample !!!
