Going off on a tangent here... but when do most people start "day one"?

I noticed yours was six days after planting seed. I'm curious since the ones I have going are seven days from planting.

But don't trichs only form when the plant is mature and a female (which it could be) and looking to be pollenated? Isn't that what trichs are? A way for the pollen to stick to the female plant when it's ready to flower?

I dont know about most people but I count day one from the time it pops open and reveals the first leaf set.

For simplicity sake, I just started them all on daily count from when all were at that stage. I suppose you could add 2 or 3 days because some popped before others in a 48 hour span.

Put that is just splitting hairs.

It is theorized that trichs are primarily for protection against vermits, varmin and predators. The get stuck in the sticky environment and trap the demons.

I know a trich when I see a trich.

Which is why I am making this plant special. I havent seen much more than bagseed in my life....but this one under a scope is laden with clear trichs at day 7.

I dont know what else to say. Perhaps a more seasoned grower can explain.

Trichs form on hemp plants too, male and female.

It is what is IN the trichs that make the shit special. I dont surmise the plant has any THC in the trichs at this time....but the foundation is certainly there.

As for the trichs catching the pollen, the hairs that spring from flower pods have on them the goo that collects the pollen. Pollen stuck to a leaf woundn't do much good for the flower pistels.

I just know in my heart that this is one special plant.

I shall therefore name her....

Glads to see you are in good spirits there bro, I haven't looked at your latest pic's if any, just came and read the last page...will be lookin for more pic's...So you've got a special one there, that is nice.
My bbxjh didn't make it out of seed, so I contacted KlozitKing and they are sending more with extras for my patience, KlozitQueen responded within 6-8 hours onsite, that will balance me a little...expect quick arrival since all they have to do is send them. No more paper towel method for me.
I think I'm just gonna start'em in peat pellets from now on. I'm gonna veg'm, sex'm, & clone'm...grow'em out decide which taste the best and re-veg the mother...sorry about rambling on... good growing to all and to all a good night!

That trichy princess does seem well strange, looks kinda rubbery that close up Are you sure she's not a Lowryder? (flowering from birth)

HD, Hey can you take a photo of that thing really close? I mean so you can see what those little light specs actually look like? I have an 'expert' that might be able to shed some light on this, but it just might be just what you say it is. Trichs! Not that I don't believe you! Nature isn't as 'right down the line' as we sometimes think. Looks like you might have a freak that would for sure only be right to grow by itself and see what happens. But ganjamania might have something there. Might be a ruderalis strain. Might be the next new hot thing in this hobby! You'll be a bazillionaire!

I was looking at her this morning under the scope just to make sure I wasnt stoned or too hung over.

But sure enuff......little bubble blisters all over the leaf surface.

Looks very strange...I have two more of that kind right now but they arent anything like this one. Same leaf formation and high ridges....

Will post one a little later just got back in town a bit ago.

Left early this morning for east coast trip....and just returned.
