HARDDON's FIRST SOG
I think I would have to have about 5 mothers to get 25 clones from every 81 days.
Outta the question unless I wanna start a grow setup all over again.
Which I might do, lest I turn into a mad scientist like Latewood has
On the two litre bottles, I started transplanting a few already and what was capacity for 28 containers is now reduced to 18 MAX. I have 25 babies so I have 7 plants left to either:
let them grow in what they are.
build new grow room and have them as mothers.
place 18 and flower....pull males and replace with these 7...
Lesson 93 learned
I;ll have to figure this one out.HARDDON Reviewed by HARDDON on . HARDDON's FIRST SOG Ok gang...cunt and whore are being cured...the good old fashioned way.... IN MY BONGS :D :D :D Here is my first SOG attempt. I am not 100% complete. Still need to add foil to boxes.... I planted these seeds I think yes...on Monday. This morning some had popped out much to my dismay....I was kinda liking not haveing to worry about some frickin plants for at least a week..... :( Rating: 5

I've seen some people take up to 10 clones from one mother plant at a time, with about 70% survival rate. I don't know if that is good as I've never cloned myself, but have seen it done plenty of times. I'd say, min. of 3 mothers to get 20 live clones.

HARDDON's FIRST SOG
Ok I started the dreaded transplant tonight. I started with the plants that showed the most rootbound.
****INTERESTING DISCOVERY****
Each water bottle that I had rolled up in the thermal blanket, had the most extensive root systems and subsequently were much healthier and far better off than those who had simple foil wrapped around them.
TIME AFTER TIME.
I simply couldnt believe it.
Every SINGLE one had dramatically healthier features.
It appears, at least in this grow, that stabilized soil temps play a role in the growth of MJ than I had ever suspected.
I think the foil thermal blankets kept the soil temps consistent. That is no hot or cool periods.
VERY VERY VERY interesting. I even cracked open a few of the plants that are laggers and their root system was fine.....little root binding and less visable.
BUT EVERY SINGLE BLANKETED GROW CONTAINER EXCELLED IN ROOT PRODUCTION AND LEAF PROLIFERATION.
I think this needs to be investigated further. The results were a real eye opener here.
We talk alot about canopy temps but never about soil temps.
That needs to change...I will try this again just to rule out anything else.
I am convinced there is something to this. NO DOUBT AT ALL.
Anyhow here is day 16. Its getting crowded and quite frankly I am looking forward to day 21 when I can flower
Anyhow I only have room for about 16 of these 2 litre bottles. I will have to elongate the lights and now find my other high powered CFL.
Some plants will be forced to flower in their original containers. Not the best ones those, only the runts.
I MAY or may not keep a couple out of the flower chamber as I could fit them all in there because I run my fan from top.
But none the less I am excited about what I found under those thermal blankets
Amazing indeed. 5 days to go.

Interesting find HD. But why aren't the new transplant containers wrapped in that stuff now?

Maybe next grow....Bessides that thermal blanket adds a lot of width to the diameter and I am space starved as it is.

HARDDON's FIRST SOG
DAY 17 UPDATE
I transplanted four more this time.
I could not believe it but the thermal blanketed plants had rooting systems unlike any 16 days old plants should have...and compared to the simple foiled ones.....something has to be said about keeping the soil temps stable.....
I shall delve into this. The plants are taller, wider, more advanced......
I decided I will Keep two mother plants out of the SOG and use her for clones. I am gonna pic Princess Cum Bucket as one of the others and maybe the BlueBerry X strawberry COugh.....
The germ process is cool and fun, but just takes to long.....I figure I can veg clones for 14 days and flower.
Anyhow here is the SOG day 17 as of a few minutes ago.
