I agree entirely. There's also one other thing to consider: people hate changing the status quo. The American public is afraid of change in general; no matter how good or bad things are right now, people at least know how they work, and with change, you lose even that.

You see it in all areas of law and business. So, you're right. Big business is and always has been the big anti-marijuana force, but the people aren't doing much to change things either-- they're just to easily manipulated by fear of change.
