well max, I'm no expert on government but can't the feds just issue a law that states regular citizens can not grow Marijuana in their own homes? Doing this would would rid the world of all the controversy about MJ at the very least: it's legal, as long as it's certified to be in pure innocuous form.

Laws already exist that prohibit cultivation in one's own home. You can see how well that works. :smokin:

BTW .. it is not illegal to make your own booze as long as you do not sell it to anyone or give it away to minors. (it is even legal to sell homemade alcohol as motor fuel if you first contaminate it in such a way as to make it not fit for human consumption) You will run into problems with the smells if you operate your own still. Have any of you ever heard of "Bathtub Gin"?

Its not dangerous to make your own Alchohol at home, Can you say Microbrewers? And Moonshine isnt dangerous at all, its only dangerous when idiots use Radiators to condensate the alchohol, this is where people get lead poisoning which makes people blind. And not all moonshine is illega. There are several US Moonshiners that have a legal business selling moonshine.

Bathtub Gin isnt making alchohol, its just Diluting Alchohol already made with stuff people shouldnt be ingesting

I agree entirely. There's also one other thing to consider: people hate changing the status quo. The American public is afraid of change in general; no matter how good or bad things are right now, people at least know how they work, and with change, you lose even that.

You see it in all areas of law and business. So, you're right. Big business is and always has been the big anti-marijuana force, but the people aren't doing much to change things either-- they're just to easily manipulated by fear of change.
