End of the world
if a global-destroying meterorite hits earth or is heading for it, our fate is inevitable. as for humans destroying this planet - impossible. earth is obviously equipped to deal with any "damage" the human race can dish out. as for the apocolypse, i doubt any of us will live to see it happen. we have assistance from the other planets in the solar system to prevent such disasterous meteors from hitting our earth - couldn't of picked a better place to inhabit. the chances of a meteor hitting our earth are highly unlikely, some scientists theorized that 65 million years ago, a meteor impacted with earth, thus bringing along the extinction of dinosaurs. plate tectonics have shifted the earths surface - recycling rocks to and from the surface of earth, which is reason why crater impacts are not present anymore. sounds logical...right? i'm going to do more research on the topic because it's out of my own personal interest, i'll be sure to inform you once i have collected more data.
