Well im sure that in the 1700's they thought the idea of Americans fighting for freeing the slaves was insane also. Things build support that's how any great avtist groups get to where they are. Not only is the Gay rights struggle something that could contribute to it but also the fact that America is so divided right now from a political stand point. We literally have the country divided 50/50.

Maybe but not all of them agree with what Bush is doing. In a recent survey conducted by CNN (I think) it showed that more than 50% of Americans that voted diagreed with what Bush is doing in Iraq.

Democracy is a great thing but he doesn't need to force it down peoples throats.

i understand some disagree with W,but is my firm belief that for the greater good of the world,sometimes you have to sacrifice.

more people are anti-war in America than in Iraq.that speaks volumes.
